Everyone supports those who need support animals for whatever reason, but there is clearly a large and growing population of individuals willing to game the system. There can be no way, shape or manner a pit bull can ever be any type of support animal. The person claiming that is lying. The sad story of a 5 year being mauled in an airport where this dog should never be allowed is only one piece of evidence. In the housing industry we need a fair set of rules of compliance because we all know that many support animals are really just pets, but we play by the current rules, which means we have very little choice, but to take them on face value of what we are being told. The law needs to be changed.
